How We Work

Four straightforward steps, from telling us what you need to planning a suitable solar or battery system.

Step 1

Tell us what you need

We start by talking about your JPS bill, power cuts in your area and the appliances you want to keep running.

What to have handy: A recent electricity bill and a list of essential devices (e.g. refrigeration, lighting, WiFi, pumps, AC). Use our printable preparation checklist.
Step 2

Arrange a site check if needed

If your project needs a technical site survey and qualified support is available, we can discuss arrangements and any fees first. An assessment may review:

  • Electrical panel capacity and circuit breaker layout.
  • Roof orientation, solar exposure, and structural framing.
  • Enough safe space and ventilation for any proposed battery equipment.
  • Grounding and surge protection readiness.
Step 3

Review the options and price, if suitable

Where suitable survey evidence and qualified delivery arrangements are available, a proposed system may explain:

  • Recommended solar array output (kWp) and inverter capacity.
  • Proposed battery storage capacity (kWh) with clearly stated load and runtime assumptions; actual backup duration cannot be promised without assessment.
  • Which appliances and circuits could have backup, and which would not.
  • Proposed installation scope and timing, subject to delivery arrangements being confirmed.
Step 4

Installation and handover, if agreed

When you choose to proceed, installation and commissioning arrangements are confirmed with suitably qualified professionals. Any backup tests and handover procedures depend on the selected equipment and agreed scope.

Handover: Where installation is agreed, the qualified delivery team should explain basic operation, battery monitoring and relevant safety procedures.

Our Operational Standards

We prioritize safety, structural integrity, and local environmental resilience.

Roof and Wind-Load Checks

Before any roof installation, qualified professionals should assess roof condition, local wind exposure, mounting specifications and relevant building requirements. No system is represented as hurricane-proof.

Battery Safety and Compatibility

LiFePO4 batteries are one option we assess. Suitability depends on the exact battery, inverter, protective equipment, installation location and manufacturer instructions.

Electrical Protection and Cable Routing

Any proposed installation needs appropriately specified cables, isolators, earthing, protection and inspection by qualified personnel as applicable.

Discuss your next step

Tell us your main power needs first. We can then discuss whether a site assessment is suitable and available in your area.
