1. Your essential power needs

List lights, fridge/freezer, Wi-Fi, fans and device charging you would prioritise in an outage.
Identify shop equipment, security systems or other critical circuits separately.
Think about short, overnight and longer JPS outages.

2. Appliances needing careful assessment

Record air-conditioner sizes and typical use, if applicable.
Note pumps, cooking appliances and other high-power loads.
Keep appliance labels or model information available for a later assessment.

3. Property and existing equipment

Note any existing panels, batteries, inverter or generator.
Consider shade, roof access and a safe equipment location for future assessment.
Know the parish; no street address is required for this preview.

4. What you want to achieve
